National Trust owned Bodnant Garden is an amazing setting for a wedding, with eighty acres in all of terraces, waterfalls, tropical plants and gorges. The stunning Pin Mill on the lily pad-coated Canal Terrace is relaxed but still looks perfect: the ideal place for wedding photos.
The terrace garden has room for up to 60 people, and won’t feel like a last resort if it starts raining!


Llangollen Railway – Llangollen

If you’ve ever dated someone who likes trains, you’ll know just passionate train fans can get. Llangollen Railway might just be the perfect venue for the train geek bride and groom!
Licensed for civil and wedding ceremonies, the main event takes place in the Henry Robertson Suite with up to 62 guests in theatre-style seating, for a personal and intimate ceremony. You’ll then have exclusive use of the train footbridge for photographs, before embarking onto the train which is set up as your wedding reception!


Tyn Dwr Hall – Llangollen

A Grade II listed country hall set in ancient woodlands, the hall is suitable for both large and small weddings with the Ballroom seating 150 and the Drawing Room seating 45.
There is also the option for outdoor weddings on the terrace, or explore the hall’s bell tower, turrets and grand staircase. The grounds consist of the artfully curated Woodland Walk, featuring some of the oldest trees in Wales as well as a two-tier waterfall.


National Library of Wales – Aberystwyth

One for the book lovers – this is about as far south as we can legitimately claim to be North Wales, but it’s worth bending the rules a little for this bookworm’s dream venue.
An early 20th century library, looking over the town of Aberystwyth and to Cardigan Bay, the venue is licensed for wedding and civil ceremonies. The larger Council Chamber fits 100 guests, while the President’s Room offers space for an intimate 30, both followed by a champagne reception in the library’s central hall.
Walk down the red carpeted stairs, stroll the beautiful grounds, and maybe pick out a book or two – literary fans will go nuts for this location!
